34 down, 6 to go

Belly update time...

Looks like Linds may have had her 2nd big "pop" and maybe even a little "drop" as well in the past couple weeks. She's still doing great but is admittedly getting frustrated with swollen ankles, rough nights and tired, achy feet.

As for TLO, the book says he/she is nearly 5lbs, about the size of a cantaloupe and actually physically fit enough to survive a delivery already (yikes!).

Me? I'm working to slowly get my back in shape to be able to play dad restriction-free. I'm also slowly building up a blood tolerance while watching way-to-graphic videos in our birthing classes. Current odds on me fainting in the delivery room: 3:1

Balmy Lake Harriet

Temps soared into the upper 40s on Sunday in the Metro and and the Lynhurst-ites were out in droves. The lake paths were arguably more crowded and buzzing then they are in July. Linds, the pooches and I took a shortcut across Harriet to avoid the masses and treat G & M to the city's largest frozen unofficial dog park.

To all you non-'Sotans, "Why do we live here?"... Days like this.

Watchin' the game, havin' a Bud

Linds & I had the Furbers and Racciattis over on Superbowl Sunday for the big game. We actually spent most of the 1st quarter upstairs in the nursery WIP discussing the dangers of crib bumpers, drafty walls and windows and the safety of Johnny-Jump-Ups.

My how life has changed!

Anyway, Luca & Cohen definitely stole the show that night (and my couch!). Looking very much forward to adding our little guy/gal to the mix!

January showers

Soon to be 'Autie La' hosted Linds' first baby shower at her college home in St. Paul. Cookies, iron-ons, the ol' 'name that baby' game and mom talk filled the afternoon. Linds, the Little One and I scored big (my fav... a Goldy Gopher mobile, Minnesota Rouser and all! Thanks Racciatti's).

Thanks La for putting it all together, and to all of you who came out to celebrate!
