Grandpas

Grandpa Tom and Grandpa Bob popped in for a Memorial Day BBQ and time with the girls.

As seen, they share pretty well (and so do the girls!).

7 months

A few weeks ago (5/13), lil' S hit the seven month mark. While we love that girl to pieces, it's safe to say that the 'second child syndrome' is setting in... as we'd never let the E's updates fall this far behind! Nonetheless, here's the fashionably late monthly update:

A few of Sawyer's latest tricks include...
  • Rocking on all fours (the poor thing wants to crawl so bad, but just can't lunge into it)
  • Pulling herself up (sitting/laying are so last year)
  • Developing a temper (maybe not a trick, per se... but if you cross this one, she'll let you and everyone within earshot know about it!)

A few of Sawyer's latest favorite things include...
  • Her dad (especially since E has always been such a daddy's girl, "losing" S is killing poor Linds)
  • Yogurt (you can't spoon it in fast enough)
  • Non-toy toys (she squeals with excitement whenever she gets her mitts on the TV remote, dad's watch, or our rubber coasters)

Hey batter, batter...

OK, so admittedly I may be a bit biased... and yes, I realize I'm not exactly a professional talent scout... but for a two year-old, my little girl has a helluva swing!

Right? Right.

Flower child

Buying into Mom's promise that one day she'll turn the little green plants into big pretty flowers, E religiously asks to "get water can, go outside, make flowers?" and has quickly become the most reliable gardener this household has ever seen.

We'll see how she takes to weeding...

Animal Kingdom

Cohen, Evie and Sawyer anxiously await the start of the 137th Kentucky Derby (at the Furber family's 2nd hosting of said event).

The Three Amigos

EJB had her first school concert last week, performing a handful of songs with her Alligator Room classmates to a gym packed full of parents.

Snapping a "live" shot during the show was next to impossible, but we did capture this moment during set-up of E and her BFFs, Hallie and Cherish.

Maxwell House (MN)

Grandma and Grandpa Maxwell turned in their Buckeye cards and officially became Minnesota citizens this past weekend!

While they were not-so-warmly welcomed by the May flurries and freezing temperatures, I'm pretty sure snuggling up with little S and chasing E around their new Apple Valley home wipes away any signs of "buyer's remorse".

Thrilled to have you here, Bob & Linda!
