Like most of the rest of America, E & S were mesmerized by Gabby & Jordyn during this summer's Olympic games.  Since a trek to London wasn't exactly in the cards, we thought a trip to the Pavilion to see the Gopher women gymnasts take on Michigan, CMU & ISU might be a fun consolation to the girls.

Sawyer's highlight came in the women's room, where she saw one of Gopher athletes at the sink and said "My name is Sawyer, I do gymnastics too!", kicking off a cute dialog between the two that made S's night.

Meanwhile, Evie tracked down Goldy and got the high five, hug and photo opp that she'd been hoping for all evening.

Sesame Street Live

Linds, Suz and I took the girls and Cohen to see Elmo & company at the Target Center this weekend.  

It's lovely weather for a [sled] ride together...

Grandkid-spoiling aside, the most popular activity of Christmas Break 2012 was definitely sledding.  

Evs was in heaven, Sawyer had a love-hate relationship with the "sport", the older generations enjoyed the nostalgia... and the dogs seemed to appreciate a little at-their-speed competition.
