Leap frog

When winter weather stretches into late May, one runs out of options for indoor fun.  So, at G'pa Tom's this weekend, the girls dreamed up a new energy-burner... spending countless hours flying off the basement steps onto an old, foam mattress.

Confidence built way too quickly (for L's comfort), as E was quickly jumping off the "seventh step" and slapping the ceiling, and S kept talking E into squatting for her to jump over!

Dogs' best friend

Team Backer took advantage of an activity-free (holiday) weekend and headed south to see Grandpa Tom and the New Ulm crew.

The girls always enjoy a little spoiling at G'pa's, and, as you can see above, so do the pups!

Air Maxx

Nana came up to The Cities on Mother's Day weekend to sneak in a little fun with the girls... t-ball, shopping, library, dining out and bouncing around the new Air Maxx in EP.

Home away from home

Multi-generation living is on the rise these days, and, well, I guess we're "on trend"... crashing with Grandpa Bob and Grandma (in Apple Valley) while we wait for our new home to be built.

Aside from the longer commute, the girls are enjoying the new arrangement and routine... including things like gardening with G'pa and winding down with G'ma, checking out videos or pictures on her laptop.
