Elsa & Anna

Well, that Disney spell is no joke… and it's absolutely been cast upon E & S after seeing Frozen in the theatre over the Holiday break with G'pa Bob.  

The girls pooled every cent of their "big girl bedtime" and gambling (another story, another day) earnings to buy an Anna doll, and are seen here elated after the purchase… and belting the lyrics to "Let it go", one of the film's signature hits.

2014 is tracking to be the coldest winter in centuries, so on those rare days when the temperature jumps double digits, the girls are quick to bundle up and hit the hills for some sledding… or, more often as of late, lace up the skates and scoot around our pond with some of the neighbor girls.  Of course, followed by some hot chocolate… sometimes even served pondside.  

And a happy new year...

L & I rang in the new year with some of our newest friends from the new 'hood.  Our progressive dinner party started with flatbread and cheeses at 7pm, and ended with our interpretation of Gasthaus' Das Boot game a few doors down, sometime around 2am.  

As one one said the morning after… "our cul-de-sac can hold it's own".  Looking forward to many more good memories with this crew.
