Ariel

Linds & Nana took E & S to the Little Mermaid musical at Stages Theatre in Hopkins.

Said E when they returned home after the play, "Dad, Ariel's voice was beautiful... almost as good as Sawyer's!".

Godparents

Linds & I are privileged to have the honor of serving the role of Godparents for the Beerman twins, Livi & Piper (the 5 m/o daughters of our good friends and neighbors, Ben & Alicia, a sister of E & S's buddy, Evan).

The Girls of Summer

E & S and their besties S, A & G... fresh out of Linds & Joelle's "salon", ready to slip-n-slide the heat away!

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in New Ulm this year... starting the day off with a Junior Olympics (hula hoops, t-ball, frisbee golf, etc.) in Grandpa Tom's yard, and closed the night out with a mostly-legal fireworks display in the driveway (thanks to Cole-B).

County Fair

The Backer and Jung girls cleaned their dads' wallets dry, burning through well over 100 tickets riding the Gravitron and Kamikaze over, and over, and over, and over, and over again at the Hennepin County Fair.

Neighborhood Campout

The families of Misty Run packed up for a nature-filled weekend on Lake Independence, camping at Baker Park.

While the opening night storms chased us into Loretto for cover (and dinner at Bonfire), we spent the rest of our time around a campfire or on the water.  Big thanks to the Infanger's for bringing the boat!
