The gang & I went against the grain and headed "down south" instead of "up north" for the classic summer lake weekend, joining the Knoots at their parents' lake condo in Clear Lake, IA for a 24 hours of fun in the sun... including a high dive exhibition by Linds!
L & I celebrated our 13th anniversary at one of the Cities' newest attractions, Top Golf, followed by overindulging at a putt-putt course table at Betty Danger's.

E's 10U Blue squad competed in the NAFA Nationals Softball Tournament in Cottage Grove, MN. Now, USA Softball Nationals are kind of like NCAA Football bowl games... there are many, many of them. This said, Wayzata went 3-4 on the weekend, and got a ton of great experience against some very mature teams from all over the Midwest. And, at least half the fun of the event was the social element, from the "opening ceremony" costume parade to the player pin exchanges to the townie bar team gatherings in between games.
