COVID Lockdown, Week 10
Week 10 brought about "Phase 1" of a cautious plan to re-open the State from the Governor's Office, allowing more businesses to open doors and more non-family interaction, though still with socially distant and PPE restrictions in place. Lots of double-standards, lots of contention, lots of slippery slopes, lots of unknowns... and a whole lotta quarantine fatigue driving behavior.
Week 10 also brought Memorial Day week(end). We celebrated with our first family friend social events in a LOOOONG time. Geocaching Baker and Gleason followed by a cool-down over beers in the garage while the kids ran through the sprinklers with the Keisers, and a happy hour and (kid) team yoga pose competition with the Jungs across the property lines.
(No new wildlife spottings this week, but we did have a very rare helicopter sighting just feet over the neighbor's home!)

COVID Lockdown, Week 9
Week 9 brought our first socially distanced get-together with friends, a birthday celebration for Sawyer's great friend Jack. We set up on own picnic tables and chairs with takeout pizza and wings and played B-I-N-G-O. A completely unusual social interaction, but so fun to finally see and interact with friends in the physical world.
Week 9 also brought ton of rain, which had us creating an "glamping" in the basement nook, conducting dry ice experiments, setting up an indoor (garage) pickleball tournament... and watching the captivating finale of "The Last Dance".

COVID-19 Lockdown, Week 8
Week #8 was a busy one.
Buster turned three. To celebrate, the girls showered him with homemade dog treats and a "refreshed" his toy bucket. He loves his new owl so much that he'll beg for you to play tug of war with it, but then angrily growls demanding it back.
Linds was honored with an incredibly low-key Mother's Day that started with overly buttered bagels and handmade gifts from the kids... and ended with pizza & beer from Bryn Mawr after a long hike around Wirth and Cedar Lake.
And, we picked up a new hobby, geocaching... and scored eight finds on excursions to French Park and Theo Wirth. The highlight find was unquestionably the delightfully squishy and muddy Quaking Bog EarthCache at Theo.

COVID-19 Lockdown, Week 7
Hikes at Baker and Fish Lake, take-out from Red Cow and walk down St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis, outdoor chess matches, water balloon fights, driveway car washes... and more backyard wildlife discoveries, including robin eggs, ninja warrior turtles, and day-old ducklings.
