S gave volleyball a whirl this fall. Fun to see her try new things. She's improving, and there's not a better teammate out there. All smiles, and the first to give a high five to anyone for any thing.

(Three of our street's 21 kids are in pre-school/daycare, one is now in elementary school, eight in middle, six in HS, two in college... and one is out in the real world)

E: Maren, Bella and like Addie, I guess, being in my classes.
S: Winter break. Just that there's no school then.
D: Are you nervous about anything?
E: No.
S: Nope.

E: Annika.
S: Gracyn and Elizabeth.
D: What's your favorite book?
E: I haven't read a book in a very long time. Like, Harry Potter. Sure.

E: Cheeseburgers.

E: Can I say basketball?

D: What's one thing that you really want to do this year?
E: I want to go to Fiji.
S: Go somewhere fun for spring break, like Fiji or the Bahamas.

E: I don't know. Is that not an option? Something working with other people, like helping other people.
