Hoco 2023

Wow. Homecoming. Already? This girl, and her friends, are G-R-O-W-I-N-G up F-A-S-T.

So beautiful, Evie Jane. Inside and out, my girl.

S gave volleyball a whirl this fall. Fun to see her try new things. She's improving, and there's not a better teammate out there. All smiles, and the first to give a high five to anyone for any thing.

New Crews

Lots of change for Sawyer's hoops squads in 2023-2024. Three new faces on her school ball team, and, with the "sunset" of DTB, a new chapter with North Tartan Nike begins. Both teams are working on camaraderie before the seasons begin. Can't wait!

Nothing says back-to-school is in effect like Friday Night Lights and James J. Hill Days.

(Three of our street's 21 kids are in pre-school/daycare, one is now in elementary school, eight in middle, six in HS, two in college... and one is out in the real world)

E: Um, Kavanaugh's.
S: Valleyfair with Gracyn & Elizabeth.

D: What about 9th/7th grade are you most excited for?
E: Maren, Bella and like Addie, I guess, being in my classes.
S: Winter break. Just that there's no school then.

D: Are you nervous about anything?
E: No.
S: Nope.

D: Who's your best friend?
E: Annika.
S: Gracyn and Elizabeth.

D: What's your favorite book?
E: I haven't read a book in a very long time. Like, Harry Potter. Sure.
S: The Summer I Turned Pretty.

D: What's your favorite food?
E: Cheeseburgers.
S: Pizza from Punch.

D:What's your favorite thing to play?
E: Can I say basketball?
S: Basketball.

D: What's your favorite thing about yourself?
E: Ummmmm... I'm hard working?
S: Ummmmm... my work ethic.

D: What's one thing that you really want to do this year?
E: I want to go to Fiji.
S: Go somewhere fun for spring break, like Fiji or the Bahamas.

D: What do you want to be when you grow up?
E: I don't know. Is that not an option? Something working with other people, like helping other people.
S: A mom.
