Puerto Vallarta | Surf City

Aggressive waves made surfing a challenge, but everyone got up a few times!

Puerto Vallarta | The Crew

My foursome, my 15-some... and my girls.

Puerto Vallarta | Fiesta Night

Mariachi band and Mexican buffet night with our friends the Franks!

Puerto Vallarta | All Dressed Up

Nice and clean for dinner... a few of the nights, at least!

Puerto Vallarta | Vallarta Adventures

The Vallarta Adventures snorkeling tour via "luxury" yacht excursion underdelivered on the "snorkeling" thanks to dumb luck with jellyfish who, by the millions, invaded the all the best snorkeling... but, was a fun, relaxing retreat from resort life, nonetheless.

We were wined and dined on the boat, then took a pit stop for some "island life" fun on the beach, hammocks, and banana boats. And, we got to hang with a surprise guest for while, Koda the 450 lb sea lion!

Puerto Vallarta | Bucerias

Two quick trips to Bucerias, one with Joe's family to Fat Boy for dinner (and a long beach walk back to our resort at sunset) and one with Nana and Sawyer to explore the plaza's market and grab a coffee at Nino...

Puerto Vallarta | The Resort

Schedules for Spring Break '25 aligned for my and my sibs' families (and Nana & Greg) so we took full advantage, booking a week at Marival Distinct near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Riviera Nayarit, technically).

The resort's staff was incredible (Octavio and Carlos we my faves), and the pools, hot tubs, cabanas, beach, activities, and food (which gets it's own separate post) did not disappoint.

Puerto Vallarta | The Eats

The all-inclusive food & drink at Marival was excelente.

Our faves were the pork ribs, cinnamon mollets, tres leches, corn chowder, and pineapple mint margaritas at Moze Mare... the lunch buffet at Emotions... tiramisu at Amalfi... the freshly made breakfast tacos at Omaggio... the fish tacos, wings and (virgin) pina coladas poolside via Lemongrass... and the freshly cut mango oceanside from local beach vendors.

Oh, and our one dinner excursion "in town" (Bucerias) at Fat Boy #2 was wonderful as well (lobster, jumbo shrimp, octopus ceviche, oh my!).
