S & I invited G'pa Tom to join us on the road trip to Nike's AAU National Tourney event and made a mini-vacation out of the trip with him and the girls from her NT squad.

There wasn't a ton of down time, but we made the most of what we had. The highlight was for sure the drizzy e-bike tour of the Lakefront Trail to and from Navy Pier on Lake Michigan.

... but, walking the Magnificent Mile, late night Levain cookies, Beatrix, Eggy's or Wildberry brunches, Island Party Hut drinks and games weren't far behind.

(Oh, and I got to catch up with my old HS buddy Schultze in-between games as well!)
